Social housing project in NE Victoria

Mondo has recently partnered with Renewable Albury Wodonga (RAW Energy) and Solar Integrity to assist in the delivery of a Beyond Housing project made possible through the Victorian Government’s Renewable Communities Program.

Beyond Housing is the largest community housing organisation within the Goulburn and Ovens Murray regions of Victoria.
They own or manage over 700 properties including long term community housing and transitional housing.

The project consists of 10 social housing homes in Wodonga, each receiving 4 kW solar systems with Mondo’s Ubi technology. Ubi will enable users to track and understand energy usage so that they can get the most out of their solar systems and make some practical changes in order to pay less on electricity costs.

One of the project’s goals is to make sure that everyone in the community has an opportunity to transition to a renewable energy future. Wodonga has one of the highest electricity disconnection rates in the state and RAW is focussed on ensuring those at risk are not left behind in our energy transition.

Mondo is proud to be involved in this project enabling the Wodonga community access to affordable renewable energy.
